Local Visit template FAQ

How is Local Visit different from Local Home?
Both are Local Business page templates, but they are built from different layouts — they have only 5 sections in common. Local Visit runs 6 sections and opens on the Scout navbar; Local Home runs 8 and opens on the Scout navbar.
Can I use only part of the Local Visit template?
Yes. The 6 sections are independent, so you can remove any of them and keep the rest. Scout and Atlas are page furniture you will usually replace with your own navigation and footer; everything between them is the page proper.
Do I have to write my own copy for Local Visit?
The preview is filled with sample Local Business copy so you can judge the layout at a realistic length rather than against placeholder text. It is meant to be replaced — the wording is sample content, while the layout and the design tokens are what you keep.
