Portfolio Work Template

The full body of work.A work page: a figure-led hero, an index and spotlight gallery pairing, a project narrative and an enquiry form — rendered entirely in your tokens.

When to use this template

A work page is judged on the work — the layout should stay quiet and let the projects carry the page.

This one is dressed in Portfolio copy and runs 7 sections, opening on the Helm navbar and closing with the Anchor footer. In between it covers hero, gallery and content.

7 sections in this page

Every section below is a real, responsive layout rendered in your own design tokens — not a screenshot. In page order:

  1. Helm

    Navbar

A floating pill bar with a full-round edge and a deep shadow, centered so it reads as detached from the page top.

  2. Cameo

    Hero

A figure-led collage pairing copy on the left with an illustrated cut-out figure staged on the right.

  3. Index

    Gallery

A text-forward, image-free index — each row a numbered entry with a title, caption and meta column.

  4. Spotlight

    Gallery

A hierarchy gallery: one large featured item on the left beside a compact list of the rest.

  5. Story

    Content

A classic zigzag narrative — alternating rows pairing a swappable image with a block of story copy.

  6. Message

    Contact

A form-forward contact block: one card with a name and email row, a message field and a full-width submit.

  7. Anchor

    Footer

A minimal centered footer — a wordmark, one wrapping nav row, a divider, then copyright and social buttons.

Portfolio Work template FAQ

How is Portfolio Work different from Portfolio Home?
Both are Portfolio page templates, but they are built from different layouts — they have only 2 sections in common. Portfolio Work runs 7 sections and opens on the Helm navbar; Portfolio Home runs 7 and opens on the Helm navbar.
Can I use only part of the Portfolio Work template?
Yes. The 7 sections are independent, so you can remove any of them and keep the rest. Helm and Anchor are page furniture you will usually replace with your own navigation and footer; everything between them is the page proper.
Do I have to write my own copy for Portfolio Work?
The preview is filled with sample Portfolio copy so you can judge the layout at a realistic length rather than against placeholder text. It is meant to be replaced — the wording is sample content, while the layout and the design tokens are what you keep.
